Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is part of StayWell Hospitality Group (SWHG) which is one of the largest independently owned hotel management groups in the Asia Pacific. Currently, SWHG has a portfolio of 31 properties in the Asia Pacific Region with locations including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Launceston and international hotels in Singapore, Dubai, India and Indonesia with hotels in United Kingdon, India, Middle East and China currently in development.

Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel marked its entry into the vibrant city of Dubai on 2nd November 2010 and the first venture of SWHG into the Middle East which complements the Group’s dynamic expansion plans.

Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel offers spacious accommodation with its contemporary modern interiors, up-to-date room features, innovative technologies, range of F&B outlets, versatile meeting rooms, top recreational facilities and welcoming service. The hotel is located in Dubai’s historic district and amongst rich cultural attractions, 10 minutes away from the International Airport and close to Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai International Financial Centre other important business areas, ideal base for business and leisure travellers.

Executive Team

Scott Butcher – General Manager
Australian National, Mr. Butcher brings along with him more than 38 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to this assignment, Scott served as Director of Operations at Panorama Hospitality – in Japan. In this capacity Scott was responsible for a number of hotels including the 600 room Crowne Plaza Kobe and the 548 room Ramada Osaka.

Mr. Butcher’s extensive experience has exposed him to a variety of cultures as well as developing his professional expertise.  He has held a number of senior positions in a wide range of recognised hotel chains including Plaza Pacific Hotels and Resorts, Bass Hotels & Resorts, Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation and Sheraton in such diverse locations as in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.

 Araceli Montalla – Human Resources Director
A Filipino national, Ms. Montalla brings along with her more than 17 years of experience in HR discipline and handled managerial position for more than 12 years.

Her passion with people made her venture in Human Resources where she manages and leads HR function in multicultural environment.

Prior to joining; Ms Montalla was working with Halcrow Middle East, an Engineering Consultancy Firm for 4.5 years and was the HR Operations Manager of Halcrow, Qatar.  She also worked as HR Manager in various international hotels such as Dusit Hotel, The Fairmont Dubai, Emirates Towers Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Hilton.

Ms. Montalla believes in hiring the right talent for the right position.

Michael Chan – Executive Assistant Manager
A graduate from the King’s College, University of London (UK), Chan brings a wealth of experience to the position. During his career span of 30 years with some leading brands in the hospitality industry, he has interacted with people of all cultures and backgrounds, and served clients across the spectrum from dignitaries and celebrities to regular travellers.

Prior to joining, Chan’s most recent posting was as General Manager for Hong Kong-based Lanson Place Hospitality Management’s two developments in Kuala Lumpur – Ambassador Row Services Suites and Lanson Place Kondominium. Earlier, he had held top positions in a number of reputed hotels and resorts including Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Singapore, Sentosa Resort & Spa in Singapore and Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, Malaysia. He has a remarkably good command over half-a-dozen languages including English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Fuzhou, Hakka Teochew)  and French. He is also a certified ISO 9002 Internal Quality Auditor.
